How is Nepal's Income Tax Calculated?
Navigating the Inland Revenue Department (IRD) tax slabs for the Fiscal Year 2081/82 (2024/25) can be incredibly complex. Many employees in Kathmandu and across Nepal are shocked when their HR drops a large Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) cut from their monthly salary. Using our Nepal Income Tax Calculator, you can accurately predict your take-home pay.
The New Tax Slabs (2081/82)

- Slab 3 (20%): For the next Rs. 3 Lakhs.
- Slab 4 (30%): For the next Rs. 10 Lakhs (Single) or Rs. 9 Lakhs (Married).
