1. Client-side tools — your files never leave your device

Nearly all ToolNepal tools (Image Compressor, Watermark Remover, PDF Merge/Split/Compress/Rotate, QR Code Generator, Barcode Generator, all calculators and text converters) run entirely inside your browser using JavaScript. When you select a file or type into a tool, that data is processed on your own device and is never uploaded, transmitted, or stored on our servers. We simply have no access to it.

2. Information we do collect

We collect a limited amount of information to operate and improve the site:

• Local storage (on your device only): your theme preference (light/dark), a short list of recently used tools, and a small internal page-view/ad-click log used to understand which tools are popular. This data stays in your browser's local storage and is never transmitted to us.
• Hosting analytics: our hosting provider collects aggregated, privacy-friendly analytics (page views, referrers, approximate location, device type) to help us understand traffic. This does not use cookies and does not track you across other websites.
• Contact form: if you submit the contact form, your name, email address, and message are sent to our support inbox via a third-party form processor (FormSubmit.co) so we can respond to you. We do not use this information for marketing.

3. Cookies and advertising

ToolNepal may display advertisements served by Google AdSense and other third-party ad networks. These vendors may use cookies (including Google's DoubleClick DART cookie) to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites.
